What do you enjoy most about being part of Ostrom?

Every day is different, and it's never boring. This variety challenges me to adapt, learn, and grow continuously. I appreciate the opportunity to tackle new and exciting challenges.

As we’re still quite a small team I enjoy that I got to know lots of different, very smart people from different parts of the world that bring different ideas and qualities to the table. Everyone is super open-minded and it’s no problem to ask for help or an opinion.

Last but not least I have the feeling that I am contributing to something valuable and sustainable. It's about being a part of a mission that provides genuine value to people.

Why is it important to you to work in a digital and green startup?

I always wanted a job that gives me the feeling that I am doing something meaningful. As climate change progresses, I feel like I'm contributing to something positive by helping people use green energy.

Being able to work remotely and fully digital for me is just in line with the current times & also gives me the opportunity to be more flexible with my work location so I can work wherever it suits me best doesn’t matter whether I am on "workation" or on the train or if I feel like I need more focus time at home.

What does your day look like?

First of all, I have to say that there is no such thing as a typical day in my job. Which is exactly what I love about it.

Most days start with our Ops Daily where we talk about our To Do’s for the day. If I’m not busy answering customer requests, I’m usually taking care of my own projects such as automating processes, working on SQL queries or taking care of tasks that are important for our customer service behind the scenes.
